Speaking Engagement Policy: For Webinars, Talks, Seminars, Podcasts, Conventions, Workshops & Virtual Presentations Michael Bigos is honored to partner with organizations, businesses, and platforms that value clear messaging, strategic design, and transformative storytelling. Whether in person or online, every speaking engagement is crafted to deliver value, clarity, and actionable takeaways. Types of Engagements Covered: - Webinars & Virtual Events - Keynote Talks & Panel Discussions - Workshops & Training Seminars - Podcasts & Audio/Video Interviews - Conferences & Conventions - Private Coaching or Organizational Sessions (via Teleconferencing) Booking Terms: All engagements require a minimum 2-week notice (exceptions may be made for urgent or repeat clients). A pre-engagement call or email briefing is required to align on audience, goals, and key takeaways. Topic customization is available to best suit your event goals and audience needs. Fees & Payment: Speaking fees vary by format, duration, and scope of preparation. Travel-related expenses (if applicable) are to be covered or reimbursed by the hosting party. A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required upon confirmation to secure the date. Final payment is due no later than 7 days prior to the event unless otherwise agreed upon. Virtual Speaking & Technology: For virtual events, a reliable and secure platform (Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc.) must be provided by the host. Speaker requests access to a test run or tech check, especially for live sessions or webinars with integrated tools. All sessions should be recorded with prior consent if intended for replay or distribution. Promotion & Media: Speaker name, bio, and promotional assets will be provided upon request. Any use of speaker likeness or recordings for post-event marketing must be discussed and approved beforehand. For podcast or content-based appearances, permission is granted for the host to publish and distribute the episode unless otherwise agreed. Rescheduling & Cancellations: Rescheduling is allowed up to 5 business days before the event, pending availability. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may result in the forfeiture of the deposit. In the event of illness or emergency on the speaker’s end, every effort will be made to reschedule or provide an alternate solution.
